Why were 14 books Removed from the Bible in 1684?

In the year 1611 the Holy Bible was translated from Latin to English; and at that time the Bible contained a total of 80 books. The last 14 books that made up the end of the Old Testament were as follows:

  • 1 Esdras
  • 2 Esdras
  • Tobit
  • Judith
  • The rest of Esther
  • The Wisdom of Solomon
  • Ecclesiasticus
  • Baruch with the epistle Jeremiah
  • The Songs of the 3 Holy children
  • The history of Susana
  • bel and the dragon
  • The prayer for Manasses
  • 1 Maccabees
  • 2 Maccabees

In the year 1684 these 14 books were removed from all versions of the Holy Bible except the 1611 edition; which was the first edition translated to English. In this edition you will also find that Jesus name is not the same in fact it is spelled IESUS and pronounced Yahashua is Ishuyah;  why then do we continue to call our savior Jesus, when the letter J did not enter into widespread usage until the late 1400’s to early 1500’s B.C.? Of course many didn’t know this. Did you know that these books even existed? My grandmother used to tell me about them long ago she used to say “you know Moses wrote more book that were removed from the Bible; they’re at the Library if you want to read them” but I didn’t listen til now, and I am glad that I did!  I hope the Questions that I’m presenting will Encourage you to research further into this subject, and I pray that it gets you reading your Bible! Then and only then will you begin to see what they have hidden from us in Plain Sight!

While studying the Words within my Apocrypha I came across a book called the Wisdom of Solomon; this intrigued me as I have always looked up to Solomon of course him being the wisest king ever; I continued to read this book called the Wisdom…… What I read sent Chills and shock through my body. What was I reading and how did Solomon know these things? Now I just have to share it with you. I’m not claiming that Solomon was doing evil, but he did worship other gods So….. I believe there are still some questions that need to be asked and answered.

Wisdom of Solomon 2:1-24
1 For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright, our life is short and tedious and in death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.

2 For we are born at all adventure: and we shall be hereafter as though we had never been: for the breath of our nostrils is as smoke, and the little spark in the moving of our heart

3 Which being extinguished, our body shall be turned into ashes, and our spirit shall vanish as the soft air,

4 And our name shall be forgotten in time, and no man shall have our works in remembrance, and our life shall pass away as the trace of a cloud, and shall be dispersed as a mist, that is driven away, with the beams of the sun, and overcome with the heat thereof.

5 For our time is very shadow that passeth away; and after our end there is no returning: for it is fast sealed, so that no man cometh again.

6 Come on there for let us enjoy the good things that are present: and let us speedily use the creatures like as in youth.

7 Let us fill ourselves with costly wine and ointments: and let no flower of the Spring pass by us.

8 Let us crown ourselves with rosebuds, before they be withered:

9 Let non of us go without his part of our voluptuousness: let us leave tokens of our joyfulness in every place: for this is our portion and our lot is this.

10 Let us oppress the poor righteous man, let us not spare the widow, nor reverence the ancient gray hairs of the aged.

11 Let our strength be  the law of justice: for that which is feeble is found to be nothing worth.

12 Therefore let us lie in wait for the righteous; because HE is not of our turn, and HE is clean contrary to our doings. He upbraideth  us with our offending of the law, and ojecteth to our infamy the transgression of our education.

13 HE professeth to have the knowledge of the MOST HIGH, and calleth HIS self the child of the LORD.

14 HE was made to reprove our thoughts

15 HE is grievous unto us even to behold, for HIS life is not like other men’s, HIS ways are of another fashion.

16 We are esteemed of HIM as counterfeits: HE abstaineth from our ways as from filthiness: HE pronounceth the end of the just to be blessed, and maketh HIS boast that GOD is HIS father.

17 Let us see if HIS words be true: and let us prove what shall happen in the end of HIM.

18 For if the just man be the Son of THE MOST HIGH, HE will help HIM and deliver HIM from the hands of HIS enemies.

19 Let us examine HIM with despitefulness and torture, that we may know HIS meekness and prove HIS patience.

20 Let us condemn HIM with a shameful death: for by HIS own mouth HE shall be respected…..

Now this left me with some serious questions like:

  • What righteous man was Solomon speaking of killing with a shameful death?
  • Why did the Vatican vote to have these 14 books removed from our Bible?
  • Why did Solomon sound so evil in this book?
  • Did you know that Solomon wrote a number of books that were not included in the Bible?

I can go on and on, but the question is just: WHY did they remove these books?

Well I have a few possible answers to the questions that I have asked:

In my opinion Solomon is speaking of our Savior…. Who else could he be speaking of plus the similarities surrounding the crucifixion are just to similar to ignore…. So you think that Solomon was wise enough to prophesied something that happens 931 years after his death? Okay lets compare:

  • They killed the SON with a shameful death
  • The SON’s actions or fashions were different from everyone else’s
  • HE claims to be and IS the child of The MOST HIGH
  • Righteous poor man
  • HE professeth to have knowledge of The MOST HIGH
  • Then Solomon even knew What the Savior said to the people in the Temple ” HE esteemed us as counterfeits: HE upbraideth us with our offending of the law. ( Remember when the SON flipped over the table in the Temple and said that they had turned it into a den of thieves, sounds a lot a like)

Then listen to what Solomon has to say:

  •  HE was made to reprove our thoughts
  • We are esteemed of HIM as counterfeits: HE abstaineth from our ways as from filthiness: HE pronounceth the end of the just to be blessed, and maketh HIS boast that GOD is HIS father
  • For if the just man be the Son of THE MOST HIGH, HE will help HIM and deliver HIM from the hands of HIS enemies. ( This is what was said directly before HIS crucifixion)

If there is no truth to this, How did Solomon know Exactly the How, What, Where, When and  even the words used while the Savior was on the cross? I have always admired Solomon as a wise ruler….. but something is off here!

I am a believer that the folks in power are just Big Fat Liars, including the pope and whom ever approved the Bible without the Apocrypha! I know that they removed these books in order to keep us Ignorant of the Truth! Even though they hid it in Plain Sight! Just one More thing….. SOLOMON NEVER EXCLUDED HIMSELF AS ONE OF ungodly PEOPLE THAT HE SPOKE OF!

Hey Sister, Solomon was giving you/us an example of how these ‘people’ think.I had to do a slight double take when I first read that portion of that scripture as well. And of course the Apocrypha is a must read/have for any faithfull servant of Our Creator/Saviour. And double exactly, _esus is not the name of our Saviour! Solomon was a ‘black’ man I wonder who do this dude call himself representing!?? humm, mabey one of King Solomon’s faithful students I guess…lol

  4. This is a really confusing article. It’s obvious why this was taken out; it’s dripping with contempt, and is one man’s own opinions.
Also, The Hebrew Bible credits Solomon as the builder of the First Temple in Jerusalem. It portrays him as great in wisdom, wealth, and power, but ultimately as a king whose sins, including idolatry and turning away from Yahweh, led to the kingdom’s being torn in two during the reign of his son Rehoboam.
Solomon lived Long before Jesus so what are u implying?

  6. What you have omitted is purposeful. When you look at it in context everything is revealed. Why did you choose to omit the first 4 verses is what I’m trying to figure out.

    • I included a Free copy of the Entire Apocrypha….. To encourage people to read and study….. My thoughts on this are neutral…. But I must ask How did Solomon Know So much about Jesus death ….. This prophecy is more accurate than any in the bible how is that? Solomon must have been there? My point is that the time line given to us is very wrong or at least inaccurate because Solomon could not be more wise than Jesus….. So how did Solomon know what They said to Jesus on the Cross? Please help me understand that……

    • I have the Interlinear Bible, which has it in Hebrew, Greek, and English. I figure that since it has the Hebrew and Greek versions, it more likely has a good English translation since I started to recognize some Hebrew words to double check it.

      • I am sorry, but checking for the hebrew consistency or its translation that way cannot work (in semitic languages in general) since they work with root letters unlike other languages. You should learn Hebrew properly with that scope in mind.

    • There are 30-40,000 sects/cults of so called Christianity. Each with there own doctrine. Jesus wasn’t a Christian, he was Jewish.
Gandhi, clearly stated, I like your Jesus, your Christians not so much.
Sitting Bull clearly stated, white speak with fork tongue, cast down the Messiah.
Abraham Lincoln clearly stated, I very suspicious of people who wear religion on their sleeve.

  7. Maccabees as an example is just a history and many of the books people want to claim are from Yahowah have no prophecy and Yahowah said that would be his signature. As far as Bibles the book names after the sun goddess Byblio is more Babylonian than Yahowah’s Words .

  11. Most of these books were simply removed because Solomon for example used magic, as the church reformed over the years they decided to remove more of anything that in any way resembled the older paths.

  12. Solomon turned to worship of evil and dabbled with magik, which is practiced by the Vatican and witches to this day. He learned to control demons to some extent. The esoteric “arts” fancy themselves “wise” in practicing these things. In the end, he was a broken and depressed man that he had done all of this evil. That is when he wrote about “there is nothing new under the sun”. He returned to God but lost his crown…he had squandered his wisdom.

      • The problem for all Christians is the calendar they currently use is of pagan origins, the Sabbat never was on either Saturday nor Sunday; the Gregorian calendar replaced the Julian calendar 1587, the Julian calendar started in 45BC and was an 8 day week solar calendar the the days you call Saturday and Sunday were originally dei Saturni worshipping the pagan deity Saturn also known as Chiun, Molech, Ranpham and dei Solis worshipping the sun. Saturday doe not mean Sabbat day, the words Saturday/Sunday have only existed since 1587.
